November 8th, 1958, the co***ny was authorized to establish, called China Machinery Import and Export Corporation Qingdao branch, to be subordinate to CENTRAL FINANCE.
In 1965, the co***ny renamed to China Machinery Import and Export Corporation Shandong Branch.
In 1989, separated from CENTRAL FINANCE, the co***ny changed its name to SHANDONG MACHINERY I&E CORPORATION.
In 2000, we reorganized to a Group corporation.
In 2011, we changed from a state-owned co***ny to a private enterprise, from an enterprise legal person to a corporate juridical person.
Till now, we use the new name SHANDONG MACHINRY I & E GROUP CO., LTD.
No matter in the planned economy era or the socialist market economy stage, the co***ny is always developing in a glory during more than half a century history. Started from the very beginning with export of 200 thousand US dollars to the early period of reform and open with 18 million US dollars, up to now we have a turnover of 700 million US dollars annually, the achievement thoroughly shows our endless developing process. The revolution and innovation in the system from the 1980s departments accounting to 1990s optimizing resource by profit, partial reconstruction to the entirety reconstruction, shows our courage and belief for the development and expresses our own ideas and courage in the reform and innovations.
